refund and cancellation policy
Refunds or a replacement order to the same value will be given in the (unlikely) event that you receive the incorrect product or if the products are of unsatisfactory quality. If you are in any way unsatisfied with the quality of your order please contact us within 24 hours of receipt, refunds will be issued at our discretion and based upon the return of the order. Unfortunately refunds will not be considered if the order is not returned uneaten.
Refunds will not be issued for our NZ wide delivery range.
CHANGE OF MIND
online shop orders
If you have changed your mind and would like to cancel your order we have the following options available:
- If you have cancelled within 7 days:
- There will be no refund as planning and prep for your order has already started.
- If you have cancelled with more than 7 days notice:
- Store credit valid for 12 months.
- A partial refund as fees have already been deducted for accepting payment and processing your order.
- In the event you are sick
- Store credit valid for 12 months.
INCORRECT DATE CHOSEN AT CHECKOUT
- Please ensure you have selected the correct collection/shipping/local delivery date when using our delivery calendar.
- If there is a specific collection/delivery date this will be stated in the product name and in the product description.
- Refunds will not be given in the event you chose an incorrect date.
custom cake orders
Due to the labour and ingredients that have gone into creating your cake we are not able to complete a refund if you cancel your order with less than (14) fourteen days notice.
Note that regardless of the cancellation date, the 50% deposit is always non-refundable.
We often source supplies in advance e.g flowers and cake toppers. If these have already been purchased on your behalf no refund can be claimed on these items. However you will have the option of keeping them.
FORCE MAJEURE:
"A Force Majeure event shall be construed as meaning an event or sequence of events beyond our reasonable control preventing or delaying it from performing its obligations under the Ts & Cs including but not limited to; an act of God, fire, flood, lightning, earthquake; pandemic; other natural disasters"
In the event Yes, Tiana Bakes is unable to complete your order due to Force Majeure, any payment made for the order(s) affected shall be held in credit, for you to use on a future order; on a date that can be agreed to by both parties. The credit will be held by Yes, Tiana Bakes for a period of one year from the date of the original order(s) affected by the Force Majeure. Any credit held by Yes, Tiana Bakes, not used after a one year period, will be forfeit.
Yes, Tiana Bakes reserves the right to update the Terms and Conditions at any point of time.
shipping policy
All NZ Wide Delivery products are shipped on overnight courier via NZ Post Couriers.
Rural and PO Box are excluded from shipping.

North Island $9
South Island $12.40
Your order is shipped the date before you selected on the checkout calander.
You will receive a tracking number the day your order is picked up by the courier.
As your items are perishable we recommend somebody be home to collect your parcel. In the event you are unable to be home we suggest adding delivery instructions for the courier driver (somewhere with shade). In summer we recommend putting your treats in the fridge for 1-2 hours prior to opening.
Although NZ Post will endeavour to ensure that your item arrives within our delivery targets, they do not guarantee delivery within these targets.
Shipping is at the risk of the buyer. We do all we can to ensure your parcel is packaged safely and take no responsibility for damages that occur after the parcel has left our premises.
We do not have control over orders once they have been collected by the courier. Please contact NZ Post directly.
cake collection and delivery policy
All care is taken for delivery (if applicable)- however we are not liable for acts of god, road closures, or unforeseen incidents.
We build cakes to travel- instructions for transporting our cakes are included prior to collection. Once the cake has left our premises the customer has accepted the cake as is.
It is the customer's full responsibility to be careful with transporting their order, we will not provide refunds for damages occurred after the cake has left our premises. However we may be able to fix damages at an extra cost.
allergen statement
Due to the size of our kitchen and nature of our business, all products that have left our kitchen could contain or have come in contact with peanuts, tree nuts, gluten, soy, dairy, egg, and other allergens.
It is the customers responsibility to read the list of ingredients listed under each product description prior to purchasing.
